Janus la Cour

Janus la Cour, born in 1837 in Fredericia and died in 1909 in Copenhagen, was a Danish painter known for his genre scenes and depictions of rural life. His works, such as 'A Danish Peasant Girl' and 'The Harvesters,' are celebrated for their detailed realism and atmospheric effects, capturing the essence of Danish countryside and culture.
