Frederik de Moucheron (1633-1686) was a Dutch Golden Age landscape painter and draughtsman. He mainly produced Italianate landscapes that were furnished with human and animal figures by various colleagues. De Moucheron was born in Emden and was probably taught by Jan Asselijn in Amsterdam. He was active in Paris and Lyon in the 1650s and settled in Amsterdam by 1659, where he died.
