Jusepe de Ribera

Jusepe de Ribera, born in 1591 in Játiva and died in 1652 in Naples, was a Spanish painter known for his dramatic use of light and shadow. His works, such as 'The Martyrdom of Saint Bartholomew' and 'The Clubfoot,' are admired for their emotional intensity and detailed realism.
